On March 31, 2010, DIGITS teamed with Christopher W. McMaster, Esq. to deliver a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) accredited lecture to the Erie County Bar Association. Computer Forensics 101 was designed to provide participants with a working knowledge of computer forensics, what it is, what and how the data is extracted and why it is relevant in most cases in today's legal arena. The program detailed the value of forensically extracted electronically stored information (ESI) and how that information can add significant value to litigation, corporate investigations and labor law disputes. Christopher McMaster detailed the current federal and state case law effecting E-Discovery, cost shifting, and necessity of understanding what ESI is available from forensic analysis. Stay tuned for more Bar Association CLE accredited classes delivered by DIGITS coming this summer. For more information contact Michael McCartney at Michael.mccartney@digitsllc.com
